1.Why was The World Democratic Summit held?
The World Democratic Summit was held on various occasions throughout history on 29 march to 30 march,2023 . It is important to note that there is no singular event that can be referred to as the definitive World Democratic Summit. The concept of a democratic summit is typically used to refer to gatherings of world leaders, policymakers, and experts who come together to discuss issues related to democracy, governance, and human rights.

2.Why was it  held ?

The World Democratic Summit was held in response to a growing concern over the state of democracy worldwide. Many countries have seen a rise in authoritarianism and a decline in democratic values and institutions. The summit aimed to bring together leaders from around the world to discuss the challenges facing democracy and to develop strategies for strengthening democratic systems. Topics discussed included the role of technology in shaping democracy, the importance of free and fair elections, and the need for greater transparency and accountability in government. The summit was seen as an important step in promoting democratic values and ensuring that they are upheld around the world which helps  the protest in the non democratic countries(China,Russia,Cuba) by Motivation.

3.Which Countries denied to join it

1. China: China is a one-party state that does not believe in democracy as a political system. The Chinese government has been criticized for its human rights record, including the treatment of ethnic minorities and political dissidents. As such, China has not shown any interest in joining The World Democratic Summit also its not a democratic but a Communist country which criticize the democracy on its weaknesses&and also  The World Democratic Summit will cause political instability to the country if Russia joined it.

2. Russia: Russia is a country that has been accused of violating democratic norms and suppressing opposition voices. The Russian government has been criticized for its actions in Crimea, its interference in foreign elections, and its treatment of political opponents. As a result, Russia has not joined The World Democratic Summit and also it will cause political instability to the country if Russia joined it.


3. North Korea: North Korea is a totalitarian state that does not allow any political opposition or freedom of expression. The country has been criticized for its human rights record, including its treatment of political prisoners and its nuclear weapons program. As such, North Korea has not shown any interest in joining The World Democratic Summit as, if it did It will cause problems with its allies like Russia and China.


4. Saudi Arabia: Saudi Arabia is a monarchy that does not allow political opposition or freedom of expression. The country has been criticized for its treatment of women and minorities, as well as its role in the Yemeni civil war. As such, Saudi Arabia has not joined The World Democratic Summit besides its already being pressurized by the west for indirectly supporting Russia
.


5. Iran: Iran is an Islamic republic that has been accused of suppressing political opposition and violating human rights. The country has been criticized for its nuclear program, its involvement in regional conflicts, and its treatment of ethnic minorities. As a result, Iran has not joined The World Democratic Summit it also is having issues with protest and revolts and joining The World Democratic Summit will degarde the stabilty.


In conclusion, while The World Democratic Summit aims to bring together countries committed to promoting democracy and human rights, not all countries are willing to participate. Countries like China, Russia, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, and Iran have refused to join the summit, citing various reasons such as sovereignty, political differences, or lack of interest minimize the weakness While the western allies  use it as a key to pressurize the non democratic countries which its enemies which backfired for some countries the ones  in the list are which did it with political significance.
