It started due to the French Revolution, which was a period of social and political upheaval in France from 1789 to 1799. It started under the reign of Louis XVI when descended to throne the treasury was empty due to the long 300 year war betweenthe French and the British so, increased the taxes on the workers&peasents already being exploited as, nobles didn't had to pay them neither did the church leaving only them under burden of it leading to a hyperinflation trigger the 10 year french revolution from 1779 to 1789 which etablished constitutional monarchy but when louis still wasn't compatible he was killed and replaced with Robinsphere one of the well known revolutionaries but in 3 years was replaced with Napolean Bonaparte he was one of the best figure in revolution but lost in a conquest then died at Corse end of the last hope led to demand of democracy.
3.What were the problems in it?
one of the the problems of democracy is that it does not offer enough political stability. Frequent changes in government and policies can lead to instability both domestically and internationally. CORRUPTION is another such problem as, people choose their representatives but, its not necessary for him to be good as can be Corrupted. It causes a competition for power leading to delays.dirty tricks can be used to win.
